The Marauder III DBM file has been updated again.
There are now 26 different Configurations...The Jump V has been updated. If you downloaded
the DBM file before..download it again for the extras configs. Configs:
Default, Mark II-XI, Jump I-X, Arrow IV I-V
This Marauder III is a Clan Omni mech. That configuration is the Default config. There
are, in total, 26 different configurations for the Marauder III. In the Default, There is
a Multi-Trac II system, MASC, Supercharger, Which makes the walking 4 also a 10
4[10],running 6, sprinting 8 [20]..slip and slide..heh. Anyway, it has a Torso Mounted
Cockpit & Compact Gyros..It is a TECHLevel 4 Mech - Level 3 in the Drawing Board.
In some Configs. there are Plasma Rifles, Large Heavy Lasers, Medium Heavy Lasers, ER
PPCs, Ultra AC/2s, Even a RottaryAC/2 Assault Cannon Configuration..You'll love this mech.
Now there are 5 Arrow IV Missile System
configurations available, and 10 Jump capable configurations, and 11 non-jumping
configurations.
The Arrow IV configurations act as long range
attack/support mechs. They are not for close combat configurations. If you do use them for
close combat, with the Arrow IV, you risk damaging yourself. The minimum range I recommend
for an Arrow IV is 5-7 cells, the very minimum is 4, without damage, but that is risking
it.
The Marauder III's height with the omni turret is as high as the Atlas. This Mech is
pretty big...You could be fooled at a far distance. You may think it is a Marauder IIC at
first, but when you get a good look at it you can tell it isn't any ordinary mech. There
are some major differences when you see the mech. Like the Arm Pods are different, There
are two major pods for example: 2 ER PPCs per Lower ARM, which equals 4 ER PPCs and add a
5th ER PPC at the Omni Turret POD at the Top of the MECH. This MECH is made for long
range..or mid range assault, some configs make it able to fight at close range as well.
The Design for the Marauder III still resembles the Marauder IIc, like the wide torso, but
this mech is alot bigger compared to it's predicessors.
The Cost for each config. of this OmniMECH is around the $160-164.6+ Million Range(each).
